Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef with onion until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  • Add spices, broth, milk, and uncooked macaroni. Stir well.
  • Simmer covered until pasta is tender.
  • Stir in cheese until melted.
  • Rest briefly, garnish, and serve.

Notes

Do not overcook pasta. Use freshly grated cheese for best melt. Stir while simmering to prevent sticking. Add cream cheese or sour cream for extra creaminess.
