- 3-4 lb chuck roast
- 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce (14 oz)
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix (1 oz)
- 0.5 cup French dressing
- 1 tbsp quick-cooking tapioca (optional)
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
Place roast in slow cooker and season with pepper.
Mix cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, and French dressing.
Sprinkle tapioca over roast if using, then pour sauce over top.
Cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4–5 hours.
Slice or shred roast and spoon sauce over before serving.
