Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce (14 oz)
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix (1 oz)
  • 0.5 cup French dressing
  • 1 tbsp quick-cooking tapioca (optional)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place roast in slow cooker and season with pepper.
  • Mix cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, and French dressing.
  • Sprinkle tapioca over roast if using, then pour sauce over top.
  • Cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4–5 hours.
  • Slice or shred roast and spoon sauce over before serving.
