Equipment

  • air fryer
  • meat thermometer
  • small mixing bowl
  • basting brush
  • paper towels

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (about 1 inch thick, boneless or bone-in)
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • panko breadcrumbs (optional)
  • grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat the pork chops completely dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Lightly brush both sides of each pork chop with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops, pressing it into the meat.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each chop.
  • Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  • Remove pork chops and let them rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, coat the pork chops with panko breadcrumbs and parmesan. Always preheat the air fryer and let the chops rest after cooking to keep them juicy. Adjust cooking time slightly depending on thickness and air fryer model.
