Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • mixing bowl
  • pastry brush
  • knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • optional marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Divide pizza dough into 32 small pieces. Flatten each piece and place a cube of mozzarella in the center. Pinch to seal and shape into a ball.
  • Arrange dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (triangle with a trunk).
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush mixture generously over the dough balls.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is melted inside.
  • Serve warm with marinara or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve warm with marinara or ranch dipping sauce. You can use store-bought pizza dough for convenience, or homemade dough for extra flavor. For variety, fill with cheddar, pepper jack, or even a spinach-artichoke mixture.
