Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops (1–1½ inches thick, bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 6 oz stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Season pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sauté onion and celery in 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until softened. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds more.
  • In a large bowl, combine stuffing mix, sautéed vegetables, remaining butter, chicken broth, and fresh herbs. Stir until just moistened.
  • Spread half of the stuffing mixture evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Place pork chops on top of the stuffing, then mound the remaining stuffing over each chop.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until stuffing is golden and pork reaches 145°F internally.
  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

Using thick-cut pork chops keeps the meat juicy, while layering stuffing both under and over the chops creates incredible flavor and texture. Let the dish rest before serving for the best results.
