Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • Rolling Pin
  • pastry brush
  • knife

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel (8 oz) Brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • for serving crackers or sliced baguette

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth any creases.
  • Place the Brie wheel in the center of the pastry. Spoon honey and chopped nuts on top of the Brie.
  • Fold the pastry up and over the Brie, sealing the edges. Brush the top and sides with beaten egg to help it brown.
  • Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  • Remove from oven and cool for 5–10 minutes. Drizzle with additional honey before serving.
  • Serve warm with crackers, apple slices, or baguette rounds.

Notes

Serve warm with crackers, apple slices, or baguette rounds. You can use pecans, walnuts, or almonds for the topping. To make ahead, assemble the wrapped Brie, refrigerate it, and bake just before serving. Brush with egg wash for a beautifully golden crust.
