Equipment

  • large wooden charcuterie board
  • small serving bowls
  • cheese knife
  • serving tongs
  • small spoons

Ingredients

  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 12 slices salami
  • 1 small fuet sausage
  • 12 slices Spanish chorizo
  • 1 small wedge brie cheese
  • 1 cup white cheddar cubes
  • 1 cup emmental cheese cubes
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries halved
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup green olives
  • 2 cups assorted crackers
  • 1 cup breadsticks
  • patriotic toothpicks and decorations

Instructions

  • Start with a clean wooden board or large serving tray. Arrange your workspace so all ingredients are easy to access.
  • Place small serving dishes on the board first and fill one with olives. Position them slightly off-center to create visual balance.
  • Place the brie wedge near the center of the board to act as one of the main focal points.
  • Fold or roll the prosciutto, salami, and Spanish chorizo into loose shapes and arrange them in clusters around the board. Fan the fuet sausage into a curved pattern.
  • Cube or slice the white cheddar and emmental cheese and tuck them between the meat clusters to fill empty spaces naturally.
  • Scatter blueberries, raspberries, and halved strawberries evenly across the board to create a balanced red, white, and blue color theme.
  • Fill the remaining gaps with crackers and breadsticks, layering them slightly to add texture and height.
  • Decorate with patriotic toothpicks, napkins, or festive accents for a finished holiday presentation.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate covered for up to 1 day before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, replace meats with extra cheeses, hummus, roasted vegetables, and fruit. Add crackers and fresh berries just before serving for maximum freshness. Refrigerate assembled board up to 1 day ahead if needed.
