Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, sliced (garnish)
  • fresh parsley or dill (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pat salmon dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and place salmon skin-side down.
  • Press gently and cook undisturbed until skin is crispy.
  • Flip salmon briefly, then remove from pan.
  • Melt butter with garlic and lemon juice in the same pan.
  • Spoon sauce over salmon and garnish before serving.

Notes

Dry salmon thoroughly for crispy skin. Do not move salmon until it releases naturally. Cook to 125–130°F for medium-rare or 145°F for well-done.
