salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on
2
tbsp
olive oil
salt and black pepper, to taste

tbsp
unsalted butter
4
cloves
garlic, minced
3
tbsp
fresh lemon juice
1
lemon, sliced (garnish)
fresh parsley or dill (optional)
Instructions
Pat salmon dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and place salmon skin-side down.
Press gently and cook undisturbed until skin is crispy.
Flip salmon briefly, then remove from pan.
Melt butter with garlic and lemon juice in the same pan.
Spoon sauce over salmon and garnish before serving.
Notes
Dry salmon thoroughly for crispy skin. Do not move salmon until it releases naturally. Cook to 125–130°F for medium-rare or 145°F for well-done.
